Shipping, Cancellations, Returns, & Exchanges

We generally do not accept cancellations because items are shipped out so quickly. However, if you do wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately and we will stop the order, IF possible.

Damaged Items
We make every effort to pack items well, and most often they arrive in good condition. Occasionally life happens. If an item arrives damaged, we will replace it or give you a full refund. If your item arrives damaged, please notify me within 5 business days of receipt. Photographs of the damaged item and its packaging are helpful. You will not be charged for the additional shipping.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have elapsed since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Custom orders are not refundable. Items are only replaced if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at nancy@healthyhomesbydesign.com

The shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer making the return; shipping fees are non-refundable.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is either received or inspected by pictures you provided, we will send you an email to notify you if we want you to ship it back or not. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be initiated to your credit card or original method of payment. The credit generally takes a few days, depending on your bank or funding source.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, unless your item arrived damaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please do the following:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company; may take some time before your refund is officially posted
  3. Contact your bank; there is often some processing time before a refund is posted

International Shipping
If you need an order shipped outside the US to a region please contact me for a quote. We find this is more reliable way to estimate your charges than the automated system.

Keep in mind that I can only provide a quote for the shipping cost itself – not for the VAT tax or other taxes associated with imports to various countries. These vary by country and are sometimes quite substantial. Also consideration is the exchange rate between US dollars and your country’s currency. I recommend that you investigate these costs for yourself before making a purchase from Heartfelt Spaces so you can offset any unpleasant surprises!
